My monster god myth

please send feedback!

It was a sunny day and all of the monster gods were gathering for a reunion by the beach (they had to pay a lot for all the damage that would occur). The gods all brought food, drinks, and everything you would expect gods to bring to a party (those without knowledge of god food, imagine eating hot chili peppers with tabasco sauce, then eating an entire box of hot tamales). After a while of hanging around, the gods had a talent show. Unfortunately, some gods were unable to compete because they were too strong. Later, the contestants and judges were decided, and the talent show began. A lot of gods had good talents, but two were at a stalemate. Their names were: Terbax, the snake jaguar of the gemstone crown, with his amazing speed, and Elyl, the giant polar bear of might, with his overwhelming strength. The judges had no idea who was better, and no one else did either. Then suddenly, someone thought of something. It was Raymur, the glistening tiger of the sun. He said, "They should fight! Then whoever wins is better!". All at once, every god started chanting, "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!". Now, you might have heard that the Dome of Doom has ferocious fights, but those humans all dressed up are nowhere near the level of gods. "All right, let's do this!" said Terbax, "I'm gonna make your head spin like a top with my speed!"
"Oh yeah?" sneered Elyl, "I'm gonna smash you into the ground with my strength!" He snarled and stood up on his hind legs, "Then I'll toss you into the sea like you're a sack of wheat!" Terbax jumped around like a hyper kid, and said, "Well, what are you waiting for? Or are you too slow?"
"The fight is on!!" yelled Live-O, the shining lion of the moon (he was a judge). The two gods ran (or lumbered) over to the 'fighting area' which was really just the center of the beach.
"The arena will be… the entire beach!" yelled one of the judges. Terbax was so excited he ran around in circles, but Elyl was not so pumped. "What?! That means that he has the advantage! I'm not as quick as he is, so he can just hide the entire time!". The judges thought for a bit, but before they could come to an agreement, Raymur yelled, "You may not be as fast, but he isn't as strong as you!" All the judges nodded. The match was still on.
The match started. The two gods started testing each other's skills. Terbax had already analyzed Elyl's power, but Elyl didn't know that. Terbax easily dodged deadly attacks and struck back from unpredictable places. Elyl finally managed to get a hit in the second round, but since he wasn't very fast, it wasn't very strong and Terbax barely felt anything. In the last round, Terbax got badly hit but managed to stand back up. He avoided two more attacks but both seemed like they had almost no power left. Luckily, there was one trick that Terbax still had up his fur. He hunched down and pounced. But this pounce was at least twice as powerful as a normal jaguar's. He slammed into Elyl and clamped his jaws around the polar bear's neck. Gods were immortal, but they could still be hurt. Elyl fell over, out cold from Terbax's pounce. For a moment there was silence. Then the judges all said, "Elyl is unable to battle! Terbax is the winner!" Terbax was exhausted, but still managed to stay standing. He smiled, and let the other gods help him. This is why, even now, speed is not always worse than strength.
