if you'll direct your attention to the links section, you'll see that i have added a few new ones that fall under 2 categories. the first is Spartz media. Taste of Awesome, Memestache, Ragestache, and Daily Viral. They are hilarious, and if you log in to some, you can make your own. the other category only has one. its called Has the Large Hadron Collider destroyed the world yet? You can figure that one out on your own.

Other New Story

Here is yet another new story.

Plankton-shaped creatures shot through the air along with pygmy sharks and salmon like sharks after blood, gaining on a basking shark not far ahead. The shark's name was Tiff, and he lived on the planet Zerdax. He felt himself running out of air and flew into a cloud of water floating around. They're getting closer. I'd better take some evasive maneuvers. That was when he remembered the lightning. It's ironic, he thought, that a super-genius like me would forget something that was always here. Then he spotted something else he had forgotten: THE BIRDS. The giant, cubic birds that would eat anything; even the smallest creatures on Zerdax. His genius mind began calculating: the number of attackers, the lightning, the speed of the birds, and his speed. He finished in 2.5 seconds, then shot out from the cloud at a 43 degree angle and attracted a bird, which chased after him like a cheetah. He flew around in curly lines, confusing the bird, and waited. Sure enough, the attackers came quickly after, but a bolt of lightning redirected them right in front of the bird, which wasted no time in eating them.
Later, back in Tiff's cave (filled with water, of course, or he would have had to leave to go underwater every 10 minutes so he didn't run out of air), Tiff was thinking. He knew that basking sharks were almost at the bottom of the (reversed) food chain. If he didn't get off Zerdax, his super-selachian brain wasn't going to help him forever. He thought about Earth, with its bright days. He wished that Zerdax had light like that. Then he had an idea. He would travel to Earth and live there, so instead of eating only great white and whale sharks, he could eat the things that tried to eat him every day! But the problem was, he couldn't breathe in space. He thought about it and realized that the water-clouds could probably be moved to make a big water-cloud! Then he and the rest of the basking sharks could go to Earth. He didn't want to bring smaller or larger creatures because smaller ones might eat him and larger ones might eat him when they got to Earth. He also didn't want to use all the water or most of Zerdax's creatures besides the bird and the zebras with infrared stripes would die out. He thought again and realized that he would need to tell the other basking sharks, but he didn't know where they were. Then he remembered the device that Yuruy, another basking shark, gave him. It could call basking sharks, but no other creatures could hear it. He hit the bottom twice, then blew into the middle.
Soon, all the other basking sharks were in Tiff's cave. Their names were Yuruy, Enret, and Gompel. Tiff told them his plan for the water-cloud and they all agreed. The next two days were spent putting together the giant water-cloud. When they were done, they all got inside and high-finned. They were almost free.
The next step in Tiff's plan was to make a bubble out of it, so they would be surrounded by water but still be able to move it but wouldn't accidentally be disrupted. Also, the sharks could swim in the water surrounding them, so they wouldn't run out of air. They all counted down, then pushed off. The first 3 glipneks were fine, but suddenly Enret heard a sound behind them. They all looked behind them and saw dozens of birds coming after them. They were almost to Earth, but the birds were too fast! They whipped past them and stopped in front of them. They turned around and Tiff realized that they were trying to stop them from going to Earth. There was something going on that they didn't know about…

New story

here is my new story! i hope you like it!

Alex sighed. He wasn't sure what to do. His science project would never work. How was he supposed to get evidence that the moon wasn't made of cheese? He needed that first prize. But he had to take things one step at a time. The only evidence he could get that would work was a piece of the moon. But how would that be possible? Then he had an idea. He ran to his computer and searched the internet for the design of the first rocket made. Then he realized something, and searched for a working rocket instead. He printed out the page and ran downstairs. The door slammed closed as he ran across the street and to his friend Luis's house. Luis was a genius at building things, so he could probably build this too. Luis looked up as Alex ran into his yard.
"Hey, what's up?" he asked. He had a blowtorch in one hand and a rivet gun in the other.
"I - have - a - job - for - you," Alex replied, struggling to catch his breath. He held up the picture and Luis grabbed it.
"Hmmm…." he said. He looked at it and frowned. "I may be good at building, but I can't make a huge amount of steel suddenly appear." Alex shook his head.
"I only need one big enough to carry me and some supplies. And also it has to have autopilot."
"Well why didn't you say that before?"

. . .

A little bit later, Luis was done. Alex climbed into the rocket and hit the launch button. He smiled. This science fair project was in the bag.
He shot through the air and got through the atmosphere. Suddenly, he saw a small ship on his monitors. It was too small to be a human ship, so only one thing was possible. They were aliens. And Alex noticed they were in between him and the moon. They were trying to stop him.
All of a sudden, his spaceship started rocking. He looked at the thermal camera that Luis had installed and saw small balls of heat hitting his ship and expanding.
They're using grenades, he realized, the balls are grenades and the expanding is the grenades exploding. Then he thought, I'd better get back to Earth. He pressed a button, and down he went.
Later, when he landed, he told Luis what had happened. Then he watched as Luis opened his toolbox and started working.

. . .

"All right, here's the 411. I've installed a grenade bouncer here. What it does is it resets the countdown clock on the grenades and sends them back where they came from," Luis explained, "This way, the more grenades the aliens throw, the more they hurt themselves."
"Great!" said Alex, "I'm going back out now." He hopped into the rocket and hit the button. As he shot through the atmosphere, he thought: Now that I have this shield, I'll finally be able to finish my project. Oh boy, here they come! He hopped out of his seat and watched the thermal camera. The circles always came close, but at the last second they bounced back and hit the aliens! Alex made a mental note to thank Luis when he got back. Suddenly, something strange happened. The thermal camera showed a navy blue light coming from the alien ship at… him!! Just then the ship started to spin. When he recovered he looked out the window. He was in a huge dome. He thought, Alex, you're not in your own universe anymore. I think.

Evil Genius

alright, peoples! the first review of skinny hammer will be of... (drum roll)... EVIL GENIUS!!!! this is a book about a boy named Cadel Piggot. he is a computer hacker and is not allowed to use any computers. his 'psychologist' is a professor at a school for world domination. he goes to the school (he's also a genius, so he's only 14) and learns a bunch of things. i don't want to ruin it, but also there are a lot of other people and it is kind of hard to remember everything. it took me a few days to read, but i would give this book a B+.

My monster god myth

please send feedback!

It was a sunny day and all of the monster gods were gathering for a reunion by the beach (they had to pay a lot for all the damage that would occur). The gods all brought food, drinks, and everything you would expect gods to bring to a party (those without knowledge of god food, imagine eating hot chili peppers with tabasco sauce, then eating an entire box of hot tamales). After a while of hanging around, the gods had a talent show. Unfortunately, some gods were unable to compete because they were too strong. Later, the contestants and judges were decided, and the talent show began. A lot of gods had good talents, but two were at a stalemate. Their names were: Terbax, the snake jaguar of the gemstone crown, with his amazing speed, and Elyl, the giant polar bear of might, with his overwhelming strength. The judges had no idea who was better, and no one else did either. Then suddenly, someone thought of something. It was Raymur, the glistening tiger of the sun. He said, "They should fight! Then whoever wins is better!". All at once, every god started chanting, "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!". Now, you might have heard that the Dome of Doom has ferocious fights, but those humans all dressed up are nowhere near the level of gods. "All right, let's do this!" said Terbax, "I'm gonna make your head spin like a top with my speed!"
"Oh yeah?" sneered Elyl, "I'm gonna smash you into the ground with my strength!" He snarled and stood up on his hind legs, "Then I'll toss you into the sea like you're a sack of wheat!" Terbax jumped around like a hyper kid, and said, "Well, what are you waiting for? Or are you too slow?"
"The fight is on!!" yelled Live-O, the shining lion of the moon (he was a judge). The two gods ran (or lumbered) over to the 'fighting area' which was really just the center of the beach.
"The arena will be… the entire beach!" yelled one of the judges. Terbax was so excited he ran around in circles, but Elyl was not so pumped. "What?! That means that he has the advantage! I'm not as quick as he is, so he can just hide the entire time!". The judges thought for a bit, but before they could come to an agreement, Raymur yelled, "You may not be as fast, but he isn't as strong as you!" All the judges nodded. The match was still on.
The match started. The two gods started testing each other's skills. Terbax had already analyzed Elyl's power, but Elyl didn't know that. Terbax easily dodged deadly attacks and struck back from unpredictable places. Elyl finally managed to get a hit in the second round, but since he wasn't very fast, it wasn't very strong and Terbax barely felt anything. In the last round, Terbax got badly hit but managed to stand back up. He avoided two more attacks but both seemed like they had almost no power left. Luckily, there was one trick that Terbax still had up his fur. He hunched down and pounced. But this pounce was at least twice as powerful as a normal jaguar's. He slammed into Elyl and clamped his jaws around the polar bear's neck. Gods were immortal, but they could still be hurt. Elyl fell over, out cold from Terbax's pounce. For a moment there was silence. Then the judges all said, "Elyl is unable to battle! Terbax is the winner!" Terbax was exhausted, but still managed to stay standing. He smiled, and let the other gods help him. This is why, even now, speed is not always worse than strength.
